REO is a Cape Town family-run lighting studio bringing the care of large-scale specification into beautiful homes, interiors, and everyday spaces.
We believe lighting should do more than fill a room. It should set the mood, define the architecture, flatter the materials, and make a space feel complete.
From Cape Town to across South Africa
We earned our eye for lighting one project at a time.
REO began with a simple conviction: lighting is one of the most important elements in design. The right fitting can soften a bedroom, anchor a dining room, elevate a facade, or turn a practical area into a place with atmosphere.
Over more than a decade, that belief has taken us from individual rooms and private homes to some of South Africa's most ambitious developments. Along the way, we built our reputation on precision, trusted supply, and a careful understanding of how light behaves in real spaces.
Our portfolio includes projects such as Oceans Mall in Umhlanga and 16 on Bree in Cape Town. These spaces taught us the value of proportion, durability, consistency, and detail — lessons we now bring into every product we select for our online collection.
