Clear or coloured glass shades may be wiped with a soft dry cotton cloth or one lightly dampened with water. Where the shade can be removed from the fitting, it may be washed in a sink with warm water.

Frosted or etched glass should only be cleaned with a duster or a soft dry cloth — avoid any moisture or cleaning agents that could mark the surface.

Do not use strong cleaning agents or abrasive cloths on any glass component, as these can etch or cloud the finish permanently.

Brass and copper will naturally develop a patina over time as they interact with the environment. This is part of the character of the material and a sign of authenticity. If you prefer to maintain the original lustre, a product-specific brass or copper cleaner can be applied periodically.
